August C. Zeller, 78, of Madison road, died Wednesday. He had been cutting weeds in his garden and was found at about 10:30 a.m. Zeller, a retired Klein Manufacturing Co. metalworker, was born in Des Moines county on July 2, 1884, the son of William and Elizabeth Zeller. He married Alice Hippe here and she died in 1930. Then, on June 8, 1932, he was married to Clara Kausz here. He was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife: three daughters, Mrs. Marie Brehm, of Largo, Fla.; Mrs. Marjorie Hasten, of Burlington, and Mrs. Frances Kuntz of Wever, a son, Herbert, of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Three brothers and six sisters are dead. The body is at Prugh's chapel.
