Obituary
Miss Sophie Baumle, a former local young woman, died at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Rev. and Mrs. Walter Grabowski in Rochester, Minn., Monday night.
Miss Baumle, daughter of Mrs. Emil Baumle, who with her daughter has been living with the Grabowski family, and the late Emil Baumle, has been ill for more than a year.
Surviving in addition to the mother are two sisters, Mrs. Grabowski's family, and Mrs. Austin Fromm the latter of Cedar Falls, and a brother, Charles Baumle, Chicago, and four nieces.
Miss Baumle was associated with the JS Schramm company office. She also managed the gift shop at Baumle-Anderson’s store for some time. A young woman of pleasing personality, Miss Baumle was popular in a large circle of friends.
The body will arrive here tomorrow morning and will be taken to Prugh’s funeral home where services will be held Thursday at 2 pm. Rev. AF Koelling, pastor of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
Relatives of the deceased are expected here tonight.
