Mrs. Herman Baumle, 77, 617 Harrison, died at 4 pm Saturday at her home. She had been in failing health for the past year.
She was born in Burlington Oct. 13, 1883, and was married to Herman Baumle July 16, 1906, at Chicago.
Mrs. Baumle was a member of First Methodist church and the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are her husband, former assistant postmaster here; two daughters, Marian Baumle, at home, and Dorothy Baumle, Arlington, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. David Caldwell and Etta Bewig, both of Rosemead, Calif.
Besides her parents, a brother and a sister died previously. Private services will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Monday at 3:30 pm(CDT), Dr. George G. Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
