Obituary
Albert Baumle, son of John Baumel, died at the family residence, 1433 Madison Avenue, at 3:00 pm yesterday. The young man was 26 years old and had lived in Burlington all his life. He worked a good many years at the baker’s trade, and during the last few years of his life was a fireman on the Burlington road. Death was caused by appendicitis, after an illness of only for days.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm tomorrow. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
The death of Albert Baumle will be a sorrowful surprise to his many friends, in the city. He was particularly well known as an amateur baseball catcher and his sunny disposition and never-failing good nature made him a favorite wherever he went. Among his companions, he was admired and respected and was always a leader in athletic sports.
