Pamela "Pam" Ann Schach, 69, of West Des Moines, died at 1:30 AM Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the HCI Care Services - Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
Born March 26, 1948, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Edward John D.D.S. and Jeannette Francis Frietag Schach.
Pam worked for Nationwide Insurance for twelve years and Churchill Truck Lines for over 20 years.
She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in West Des Moines and played the organ for Zion United Church of Christ in Burlington. She enjoyed making cards, doing crafts, her dachshunds, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandkids & family. She is known by her family as Nana & Grandma Chloe.
Survivors include two sons, Shawn Franklin of West Des Moines, Shane (Shelly) Franklin of Altoona; one daughter, Tammy (Brady) Tuttle of Prairie City, IA; five grandchildren, Morgan McDowell, Ross & Bradyn Tuttle, & Madison & Drew Franklin, one sister, Vickie (Dr. Gary) Olson; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Troy Dwain Franklin.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
A private Graveside Committal Service for Pamela Schach will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2017, at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Reverend Dean Graber officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Animal Rescue League.
