Beverly Ann Dickenson, 79, of Burlington, died at 9:59 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Great River Medical Center.
Born March 30, 1938, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Emery William and Iris Leon Carson Bumsted. On July 6, 1956, she married Douglas Cecil Dickenson in Eldora, IA. He died December 13, 2008.
Beverly was retired from General Electric.
She was a 1955 graduate of Whitten High School.
She enjoyed bowling, fishing, boating, watching game shows, and traveling.
Survivors include her companion, William C. Carpenter of Burlington; one daughter, DeeAnn Forquer of Burlington; four sons, Terry R. Dickenson of Blanchard, OK, Daniel W. (Brenda) Dickenson of Keokuk, David (Sherrie) Dickenson of Burlington, Joel (LeAnn) Dickenson of Blanchard, OK; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Connie) Bumsted; one sister, Ada Marie (Keith) Brown of Marshalltown; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services. A memorial graveside service will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
