Mark Beverlin
Mark Alan Beverlin, 45, of Burlington, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at the Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, Calif.
Born July 21, 1957, in Mishawaka, Ind., he was the son of Jack O. and Dwyla Rayner Beverlin. He married Melanie Hodgerson on Aug. 24, 2002.
Mr. Beverlin had worked at Boeing Aircraft Corp. and Sterzing Food Co.
He loved woodworking and restoring cars. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Amputee Coalition of America.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Mark Beverlin Jr. of Iowa City; one daughter, Cassie Hodgerson, at home; his parents, of Burlington; one brother, Todd Beverlin of Kansas City, Mo.; and three sisters, Denise Foster of Semi Valley, Calif., Deb Freesmeier of Chesterfield, Mo., and Diane Ward of Wichita, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an aunt.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Wednesday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The funeral for Mr. Beverlin will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel, with the Rev. Trevor Davis officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
