Mr. Robert "Bob" C. Holcomb, 82, of East Grand Forks, Minnesota died Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Born July 7, 1930 in Burlington, he was the son of Carl and Cecil Bradfield Holcomb. On November 12, 1950 he married Lodema "Mo" Moses in Burlington. She preceded him in death. He graduated high school in 1948 in Moline, Illinois. He was a both a Navy and Air Force veteran until his retirement in 1968. He then worked for the Civil Service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF&AM. Bob is survived by his three daughters, Pamela (Holcomb) Cann of Niceville, Florida and Debra (Mike) Eley and Brenda (Scott) Tufte both of Grand Forks, North Dakota; one son, Kurt (Cassie) Holcomb of Ballinger, Texas; five grandchildren, Sheryl Jones, Jessica Lee, Heather Holcomb, Hunter Tufte and Hannah Holcomb; two great grandchildren, Kenzie Cann and Kaleb Jones; sister, Betty Setterberg of Burlington and lifelong friend, Bonny Augsburger. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lodema "Mo"; granddaughter, Melissa D. Hendrix; and lifelong friend, James Augsburger. The graveside memorial funeral service for Mr. Holcomb will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 6th, in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard.
