Mrs. Rose Weimer, 95, of 1714 South street, died Tuesday at 10 p.m. after a brief illness. She was born in Germany, April 1, 1852, and came to the U.S. 90 years ago and had been a resident of Burlington for the past 65 years. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Anna Brooke, San Francisco, Mrs. Marie Steingreaber and Mrs. Ella Wischmeier, Burlington; a half-brother, George Etsinger, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Her husband, one daughter, and 3 sons are dead. Services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
