Albert Enger, 78, of 1045 Short street, who has been in ill health since retiring as a toll collector on MacArthur bridge 16 years ago, died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He was born in February 1871 in Burlington and was married to the former Amma Johnson here 50 years ago. Surviving are a sister, Anna Enger, Burlington, and several nieces and nephews. His wife, a sister and 4 brothers are dead. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
