Elmer Edward Carlgren, a life long resident of this city, died in Burlington hospital this morning at 5:25 after a brief illness. He was born in Burlington May 3, 1892, the son of C.H. and Ida Carlgren. He never married. Mr. Carlgren was a carpenter. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. F.G. Walker of Burlington and Mrs. K.E. Sechler of Youngstown, Ohio, and one niece Miss Lucile Kipp, also of Youngstown. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
