Mrs. Telie Eliza Ward, 66, resident of Burlington for 24 years, died at her home, 919 S. Ninth street, Sunday morning at 5:30 o'clock. She had been in poor health for the past two years. She was born near Richland, Ia., Aug. 12, 1875, the daughter of James and Mary Vasetine Morrow. On Jan.13, 1897, she married Arthur L. Ward, at Richland. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are her husband; a son, John H. Ward; a daughter, Mrs. Ma Peterson; her mother, Mrs. J.B. Morrow of Richland; two sisters; four brothers; and five grandchildren. One sister and a granddaughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Stanley Decker will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
