Burlington, Iowa – Mrs. Myron Baum, 61, of 212 South Eighth Street, died at St. Francis hospital shortly before 11 am Thursday after a short illness with a heart ailment.
Born in Strasbourg, Alsace Loraine, she was the former Adeline Israel. She and Mr. Baum were married in Independence, Iowa, her former home, March 30, 1898, and they had lived here 32 years well-known residents of Burlington.
Mrs. Baum was a member of the Jewish faith and the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxilliary.
Surviving is her husband, a son, Ronald of Independence, and two grandchildren.
The body is at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home.
