Obituary
Donald L. Bauguess died as a result of a car accident on Hwy 103.
Bauguess was employed at the DAV club and had gone with Arthur Samuelson and two other people to a basketball game in West Point when they were hit by a drunk driver.
He was a veteran of WWII. He spent 3 years in the Army.
Besides his mother, he is survived by six sisters; Mrs. Inex Whitlow, Muscatine; Mrs. Ruby Gustfson, Wapello; Hortense Rehm, Burlington; Bessie Bauguess, Glenwood, Calif., Mrs. VonLiddle, Burlington; Mrs. Mary Ramsey, Fairfield; a brother, George, Glendale, Calif. His father is dead.
Funeral services were held at Prugh’s Chapel, Friday afternoon at 2:00. Rev. Wayne Sawtell officiated. Interment was in Aspen Grove cemetery.
