Mrs. Wilhelmine Koenig Bauer, 1730 Louisa, died Sunday at 6:35 pm in Burlington hospital after a brief illness.
She was born May 3, 1868, in Germany and had lived in the US for 70 years. March 5, 1895, she married John A. Bauer in Middletown. She was a member of the St. Luke’s Evangelical & Reformed church and the Ladies Guild and Ladies Aid.
Surviving at 3 sons, Louis J. of Burlington, John L. of River Grove, Ill., and Carl H. of Chicago; 2 daughters, Mrs. Martha Danielson of Fairfield, and Elsie Bauer of Burlington, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A son, Edward, died July 29, 1934.
Services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 pm in Prugh’s chapel. Rev. Ernest Press will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
