Herbert Bauer, 66, Des Moines Count Care Center, died at 8 am Monday, Jan. 30, at Mediapolis Care Center.
Born Jan. 5, 1912, in Davenport, he was the son of George C and Anna Madsen Bauer. He had been an employee of BurlingtonNorthern railroad shops, West Burlington.
Surviving: three brothers, William, Ray and Franklin, all of Burlington; sister, Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Burlington.
