Robert M. Cargill, 70, of 3075 Sunnyside, died in Burlington Medical Center Wednesday, July 13. He had been ill for several years. He was a retired employee of Aspen Grove Cemetery. The son of Alvy and Nancy Dowell Cargill, he was born Sept. 6, 1906 in Henderson county, Ill. He served in the Army in WW II and married Isable Edenharder in Burlington on March 1, 1954. Surviving: The wife; two sisters, Grace F. Lehman and Zelda Taylor, both of Burlington. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Floyd Cripps, Aspen Grove Cemetery.
