Mrs. Hazel G. Warren, 96, formerly of 1801 S. Main, died at 8 a.m. March 8, 1986, at the Elm View Care Center, after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 7, 1889, to Edward and Florence Sperry, in Sperry. On Nov. 29, 1929, she married the late Frank Henry Warren, in Ottumwa. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and the Sarah Circle of the church. She was a retired telephone operator. She is survived by a half-sister, Mrs. Lucille Card, of Glendale, Cal.; and several cousins. Arrangements are pending at Prugh's Chapel. Burial will in Aspen Grove Cemetery, at a time to be announced later. Memorials have been established to the blind and to the First United Methodist Church.
