Carl H. Bauer, 78, Chicago, died suddenly at his home in Chicago during the past weekend. He had been in failing health for the past two months.
Mr. Bruer was a Burlington native, born July 4, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A Bauer. He was a retired employee of Sunbeam Corp. He married Alta Milstead in Chicago May 1, 1943; she died in January 1973.
Surviving: Sisters Elsie Bauer, Burlington, and Mrs. Martha Danielson, Fairfield; brother LJ Bauer, Burlington.
Funeral: 10:30 am Wednesday, Sheagren funeral home, Rev. Ernest Elmers; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
