Mrs. Barbara Bauer died at the home of a daughter, 1405 Gnahn Street, at 10:15 this morning.
She was born in Germany, Jan. 27, 1858 and was married to Fred Bauer on April 11, 1878, in Burlington.
Four children were born to the couple, one dying in infancy. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett, and Mrs. Lulu Kuenzle of Burlington and Mrs. Charlotte Sanberg of West Burlington. Mr. Bauer died Feb. 27, 1930.
Funeral service will take place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charlottel Sanberg, 401 Swan Street, West Burlington on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. RR Belter will officiate. Friends were invited. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
