Mrs. Alta Bauer, 65, of 2409 W. Balmoral, Chicago, died in Chicago hospital after an extended illness Wednesday, Jan 3.
Mrs. Bauer was a native of Colorado and was born Feb. 14, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Milstead. She was married to Carl Bauer in Chicago on May 1, 1943.
Mrs. Bauer taught in the Chicago school system for 43 years.
Surviving; The husband; a brother Harry Milstead, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother in law, LJBauer, Burlington, and two sisters in law, Mrs. Martha Danielson, Fairfield, and Elsie Bauer of Burlington.
Funeral; Sheagren funeral home at 11 am Monday, Rev. Ernest Ellmers; Aspen Grove cemetery.
