Emil G. Birkholtz, 82, of 624 Summer, died Monday at 3 pm of an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Germany, Sept. 28, 1886, the son of Ferdinand and Amelia Schultz Birkholtz. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist faith.
Surviving: three sisters, Mrs. Barney Long of Burlington, Mrs. Esther Jaeger of West Burlington, and Mrs. Mary Bloom of Glendale, Calif.
Funeral services for Mr. Emil G. Birkholtz will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Thursday afternoon at 2:00. Rev. Mr. Norman Knight will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Wednesday evening from 7:30 until 9:00.
