Louis Bates, Jr., infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bates of 508 S. 3rd, died at birth Tuesday evening at Burlington hospital.
Committal rites were held Wednesday afternoon at Aspen Grove cemetery with the Giles Funeral home in charge.
Survivors include the parents, one sister, Rosetta at home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Campbell of Hannibal, Mo., and Thomas Bates of Detroit, Mich.
