Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Louise Bassett, 67, who died Friday were held in Prugh’s chapel Monday at 1:30 pm. Burial was at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bassett was born in Henderson, Ky., April 19, 1887, the daughter of Matthew and Lavina Clark Cummins, and was married to Jasper Bassett at Evansville, Ind., Jan. 25, 1922.
She was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Robert T. Lewis, Chicago, and a brother, Gowdy Cummings, Wilmington, Del.
