Mrs. Serena Seamons Calkins, a native of this city, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.L. Knight, at Mt. Pleasant, Ia., at 11;15 o'clock last night. At the time of her death, Mrs. Calkins was 86 years old. She was born and raised in this city and is well known here to a host of friends, who will sincerely mourn her passing. Mrs. Clakins made Burlington her home until about two years ago when she suffered a broken hip and since that time has been cared for by her daughter. The husband and four children preceded her in death,
