Terence V. Caldwell, 61, former Burlington resident, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Merit Archibald, Phoenix, Ariz., following an extended illness. he had been in Phoenix for the past eight months. He was born in Burlington, March 20, 1896, the son of Arthur and Agnes McCarty Caldwell, and for many years operated the Arcady dance pavilion near Gladstone, Ill. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Merit Archibald, Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Laurence A. Caldwell, Arlington, Va; one sister, Hazel Cohen, Muscatine; five grandchildren. The body will arrive in Burlington Friday morning. Services will be held in Prugh's chapel at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
