Dorothy L. Barton, 81, of 1807 Edwards St., died at 9:10 am Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1989, at the Burlington Care Center.
Born Feb. 15, 1908, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Frank R. and Lydia Volz Latham. She married Burrell J Barton Sept. 5, 1944, he died on Oct. 3, 1955.
He was a hone operator before retiring. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Telephone Pioneers, and the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International.
Surviving are several cousins and her caregivers, Lucinda and Marvin Corman and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen, all of Burlington

The graveside committal service for Mrs. Barton will be 10:30 am Thursday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Lawrence officiating.
