Theodore W. Campbell, 84, of Bettendorf, died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Davenport. Born June 9, 1911, in Burlington, he was the son of James William and Minnie Behtz Campbell. he married Faye Martin on Oct. 26, 1933, in Burlington. Mr. Campbell was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, earning a Purple Heart in the Philippines liberation, He was a machinist at J.I. Case Co. in Betterndorf for 28 1/2 years, retiring in January 1975. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Eagles Lodge 150 of Burlington, 60 Plus, and Independent Order of the Forester 1180 - Court Triumph. Survivors include his wife and several cousins. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. today at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. The funeral for Mr. Campbell will be 10 a.m. today at Weerts Funeral Home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. A memorial has been established to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
