Obituary
Mrs. Lela Pearl Cady, 76, 2134 S. Main, died at her home at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness. She was born in Burlington, Jan. 23, 1885, the daughter of Richard G. and Ann Achroder Painter and was married to E.C. Cady in Burlington on June 11, 1907. She was a member of Christ Episcopal church. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Rapp of Burlington; one grandson, E.C. Rapp, in the army at Ft. Leonard Wood,Mo.; two brothers are dead. Services will be held in Prugh's chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday; the Rev. E. William Strauser officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemtery.
