Clarence Cady, 61, resident here for the last 13 years and an employe of the Northwestern Cabinet company, died last night at 10 o'clock at his home, 2125 South Main street. He had been in ill health for the last four months. Mr. Cady was born in Vincennes, Ind., October 10, 1866, and came to Burlington from Keithsburg, Ill., 13 years ago. he was married in 1895 to Clothilda Dupree, who survives. He had been employed at the Northwestern Cabinet company as a wood worker for six years. Mr. Cady attended the United Presbyterian church. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, James Edward Cady and Clarence Cady, Jr., both of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Ether Rothlauf, also of Burlington. and 18 grandchildren. He was the only survivor of a family of five. One son, Victor, preceded him in death. His body was taken to the Burnett-Wallen funeral home from where funeral services will be conducted at a time to be announced later.
