Herbert Campbell, 49, of 17300 Central Ave., Tinley Park, Ill., died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago, Ill. Born Jan. 18, 1944, in Burlington, he was the son of John and Bernice Houtz Campbell. He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Des Moines County Saddle Club. He was a manager of a jewelry store. Survivors include his father and stepmother, John and Doris Campbell of Tinley Park, Ill.; two daughters, Kelly Willeford of Burlington, and Tracy Taylor of Fayetteville, Ga.; a half sister, Janet Schomburg of Country Club Hills, Ill.; a step sister, Ruby Sink of Burlington; a step brother, Rodney Hoambrecker of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. The famiiy will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel. A memorial service for Mr. Campbell will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Hoyt Whitebread officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
