John Bartlett, an old and prominent Burlingtonian, passed away Saturday evening. The deceased was 83 years of age, born in Canada, but had lived in this city since 1847. The funeral was held from the family residence, 1300 South Tenth Street, at half-past one o’clock this afternoon (12/13)
