Mrs. Ruby M. Bell, 50, Argo, Ill., died Wednesday after a brief illness.
Born July 14, 1903, at McGregor, she was the daughter George and Ida Marlette and was married to Thurl Bell at Monmouth Ill., in 1923.
A member of the Methodist Church, she is survived by four sons, Thurl, Marvin, Robert, and James, all of Argo, Ill.; one daughter, Gwendolyn of San Diego, Calif.
Other survivors are five brothers, Ira and Sidney Marlette, Wapello, Charles Marlett, Chariton, Vernon Marlette, Plainfield, and Lee Marlette, Fairview, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Smith, Burlington, and Mrs. Beulah Havenhill, Princeton; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and one sister died previously.
Funeral services will be held at Prugh’s chapel Monday at 2 pm with Dr. Deane Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will arrive in Burlington Saturday afternoon.
