Mrs. Susan L. Augustine, wife of Albert Augustine and resident of Burlington for the last 25 years, died yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock at the family home in Tama township. Mrs. Augustine was born in Iowa, February 7, 1887, to Albert Augustine, who survives. Besides her husband, Mrs. Augustine is survived by ten children, Mrs. J.V. Carlson, Mrs. Roy Masters, Henry Augustine, Samuel Augustine, Mrs. Evert Augustine, Mrs. M.L. Bucker, Harold Augutine and Claire Augustine, all of Burlington, and Shirl Augustine of Washington county, IA., and Mrs. Olive Huizinga of Ft. Madison. One brother, Jesse Miksle of Fairfield, Ia.; one sister, Mrs Snead Drapper of Clinton, Ill.; a step-sister, Mrs. Rose Bacher of Ellis, Kans., and 15 grandchildren, also survive. Funeral services will be conducted from the residence of her son, Harold Augustine, 215 Harrison avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Her body was taken to Prugh's chapel.
