Reuben Harold Suneson, 69, 1223 N. Sixth, died Tuesday morning in Burlington hospital. He had been in failing health the past year. He was born in Burlington on April 15, 1891, the son of Axel and Hannah Carel Suneson, and was married to Yura Yackle in September of 1920 at Galesburg, Ill. She is dead. Suneson was employed at the Burlington freight office as a cashier for 47 years, retiring about five years ago. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Malta 318, AF & AM, the Railroad Veterans and the Elks lodge. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Plummie Nelson, with whom he lived, and Mrs.Elsie Johnson of Kearney, neb.; a brother, Russell Suneson of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. The body is at Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
