Mrs. Minnie Augstein, wife of George T. Augstein, vice president and treasurer of the Acres and Blackmar company, passed away at the family home, 516 Maple street at 1:45 o'clock this afternoon. She was 58 years of age. Mrs. Augstein was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William F. Kitzele. She was born in Burlington, October 5, 1866, and continued to make her residence here. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical church. Deceased is survived by her husband; one daughter, Ruth Lois Augstein, of Burlington; one brother, Henry J. Kitzele, of Pasadena, Cal., and one sister, Mrs. L.J. Bischoff, of Burlington. The funeral services will be held from the Burnett-Wallen funeral parlors, the date to be announced later. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Both services will be private. Friends are asked not to send flowers.
