Obituary

Miss Johanna Youngquist, 61 years old and a former resident of Burlington, was found dead at her home in Chicago yesterday with a gas hose in her mouth. The only word she left was a note asking that her nephew here be notified and that her body be brought to Burlington for burial. J.C. Youngquist, her nephew, received word of her death yesterday morning. The body will arrive here tonight and funeral services will be held from the Burnett- Wallen funeral parlors Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Miss Youngquist was a native of Burlington and lived at the family home on South Adams street until about thirty years ago when she went to Chicago to live. She had been employed there as a housekeeper. She leaves tow brothers in Burlington: Gust T. Youngquist and John E. Youngquist. She was a member of a Swedish Mission church in Chicago. her relatives here are unable to attribute any motive for her act.
