Mrs. Hattie E. Augsburger, 86, of 1607 Osborn, a life resident of Burlington, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Burlington hospital after an illness of three weeks. Born here Aug. 6, 1882, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Schick Strauss. Mrs. Augsburger was married in Burlington. Her husband is dead. She was affiliated with the Lutheran church. Surviving: Mrs. Margaret Albright and Mrs. Helen Neff, both of Burlington, Mrs. Grace Aulwurm and Mrs. Mary Sternberg, both of Chicago; a son, Jack Steinbrecher, Burlington, all children by a previous marriage; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Bierstedt and Mrs. Ruth Joy, both of Burlington. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Prughs chapel, the Rev. Earl H. Meissner, Aspen Grove.
