Anna E. Augsburger, 101, of the Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center, died Wednesday, May 14. She was born Sept. 1, 1884, in Mjolby, Sweden, to Otto and Hilda Granat Johnson. She married Karl Augsburger on May 20, 1914, in Burlington, he died earlier. After her husband's death, she made her home with the Henry Bremer family in Burlington. After her husband's death, she made her home with the Henry Bremer family in Burlington. She was a retired nurse graduating from the Burlington Hospital School of Nursing in 1921. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, L.C.W., and the Jane A. Deleno Club. Several nieces and nephews survive. The family will recieve friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church. Services for Mrs. Augsburger will be 11 a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Hoornstra officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Sheagren Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established for the Messiah Lutheran Church.
