Henry Asmussen, 78, 1407 Thul street, died Thursday afternoon at Burlington hospital after being ill about 4 weeks. Born in Burlington Feb. 2, 1873, Asmussen was the son of Frederick and Louisa Vollmer Asmussen. Surviving are the widow; 2 children, Milo, of Hazelcrest, Ill., and Mrs.John Weyl, Burlington; 6 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Orr, Mediapolis, and a brother. Ben, of Washington, Ia. A daughter and a brother are dead. Services will be held at Prugh's chapel at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
