Mrs. Lulu Belle Ashway, 81, 2017 S. 12th, died about 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Burlington Memorial hospital, She was born Feb. 22, 1893, in Burlington, the daughter of Frank and Anna C. Henson Pippin. She married Frank Ashway in Sacramento, Calif., March 15, 1920. She was a Methodist.Surviving: One sister, Mae Pippin, Burlington, with whom she made her home; one niece, Mrs. Priscilla Timmerman, Burlington; and two grand-nieces. Graveside committal services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aspen Grove cemetery. Prugh's chapel is in charge of arrangements.
