Suell (Tutor) Callaway, 87, 1314 Pine, died at 2 a.m Wednesday, March 26, at University hospitals, Iowa City. He was born Aug. 27, 1887, in Pleasant Grove, the son of William and Mollie Spence Callaway. he married Edith Jacoby Aug. 14, 1952, in Kahoka, Mo. He was retired from the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. Surviving: The wife; two sons, William, Burlington , and Delbert, Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Velda Shain, Glendale, Calif.; one brother, Homer, Danville; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, Lunning chapel, Rev. Ernest Ellmers; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
