Mrs. Ida Asher, 64, 401 South Main street, died at St. Francis hospital yesterday morning. She was the widow of the late Jesse Asher, who died February 18, 1920. Mrs. Asher was born Dec. 5, 1865 at Lomax, Ill., and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac McIntyre. She is survived by 11 children. They are: five sons, Floyd, Arthur, Lloyd, Elzie, of Burlington and Jesse, of Galesburg; six daughters: Mrs. Leala Lafferty, Chicago; Mrs. Irene Mooney, Chicago; Mrs. F.F. McKee Waterloo; Mrs. Fritz Swanson, Galesburg; Mrs. George Haller, Gary, ind.; and Mrs. Otto Krummel, Burlington. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Maude Vincent Kewanee; Mrs. Matt Curry and Mrs. Albert Putney, both of Stronghurst; one brother, Clyde McIntyre, Kewanee; and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter,Mrs. Krummel, 215 Barrett street, Saturday at 4 p.m. The body will be taken to the home from Prugh's chapel Saturday morning. Friends may call at the chapel after 12 noon today.
