Dustin Tyler York, 21, of Burlington, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at his home. Born Dec. 14, 1985, in Burlington, he was the son of John York and Christine Callaway. Mr. York worked as a laborer. He attended Burlington High School. He enjoyed racing and raced in Thunder Cars at 34 Raceway and Wild Things at Donnellson Raceway. He enjoyed working on cars. Survivors include his father and stepmother, John and Pamela York of Burlington; two brothers, Tim Craig and Mike Craig, both of Burlington; five sisters, Jennifer York, Tara York, Nicole Suesens, Amanda Suesens and Lynsey Brobston, all of Burlington; his paternal grandmother, Rose York of Burlington; maternal stepgrandparents, Geraldine Webb of Burlington and Kenneth Brobston of Vermont, Ill.; three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. His body will be cremated following visitation. The graveside memorial service and inurnment for Mr. York will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Aspen Grove Cemetery with Elder Lawrence Manson officiating. A memorial has been established.
