William Ashoff, 65, of 609 Market street, died at Burlington hospital today following a month's illness. He was a native of this city, born July 15, 1869, and was a life resident of Burlington. He was married Oct.29, 1926, to Mrs. Marie Cousins, and attended Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving besides his widow are four step-sons A.B.B.G. and Lloyd L. Cousins, Burlington, and Floyd, San Diego, Cal. and two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank Higgins of Port Arthur, Texas, and Miss Minnie Cousins at home. The body is at the Burnett-Wallen funeral arrangements have not been completed.
