Theodore H. Aschoff, 76, 511 Barrett street, life resident pf Burlington, died at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis hospital following a year of ill health. He was a painting contractor. Born July 16, 1867, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Aschoff, he was married in 1890 in Burlington, to Teresa Huber. He was of the Evangelical faith and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors are 2 sons, Clifford and Raymond, both of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Willits, Marshalltown and 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Holmes and Mrs. Matilda Schlampp, Burlington. There are also 4 grandchildren. His wife and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.Monday from the Giles funeral home, Rev. J.H. Buescher will officiate, with burial in Aspen Grove cemtery.
