Raymond Max Ashoff, 79, 823 S. Ninth, died at 6:55 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1893, in Burlington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Aschoff. He married Elsie Ramiller in Burlington; she died June 23, 1938. Mr Aschoff was an employe of the CB&Q Railroad and the barge lines. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, and a former Moose member. Surviving: One daughter,Mrs. Dorothy Jelinkek, Glen Ellyn, Ill,; and one cousin. Funeral: 11 a.m. monday, Giles-Elliott cgapel,Rev. Donald Klohr; Aspen Grove cemetery.
