Jeri Lynn Yoder, 37, of Burlington died Monday April 4, 2005, at hae home. Born Dec. 25, 1967, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Jerry Phillips and Mary Ann Marshall Phillips Green. On July 3, 2001, she married Brian F. Yoder in Kingston. He died Jan. 30, 2005. Mrs. Yoder was a homemaker. She was a 1986 graduate of Burlington High School. She enjoyed collecting Koala bears and Precious Moments and watching birds and squirrels. Survivors include two stepsons, Justin Merle Yoder and Nicholas Brian Yoder, both of Morning Sun; one stepdaughter, Stacey M. Massner of Mediapolis; three stepgrandchildren; and two brothers, Kermit Willis of Fort Madison and Roy Phillips of Council Bluffs. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be no service for Mrs. Yoder, According to her wishes, her body will be cremated following visitation. A memorial has been established.
