Services for Mrs. Edith Mowdy Artz, 70, of Concord Drive, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel, with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery. Mrs. Artz died at 12:05 p.m. Monday in Burlington hospital. She was born in Lexington, ill., Nov. 17, 1893, the daughter of John and Estelle Franken Mowdy. She married the late Clarence Artz in Lexington in 1934. She was a 30-year resident of Burlington and a member of the First Methodist church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Hatch, Burlington, and five grandchildren.
