Mrs. Anne Marie Ohlensehlen, 93, of Burlington died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Blair House Nursing and Rehab.
Born January 15, 1923 in Chicago, she was the daughter of William and Veatrus McCallum. On May 16, 1998 she married Vernal Ohlensehlen at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2004.
Mrs. Ohlensehlen was a waitress at the Country Kitchen and Van's Lunch Box. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist church and enjoyed dancing and traveling. She collected cat and apple figurines.
Survivors include three sons, Terry Ohlensehlen and Jim Ohlensehlen both of Davenport and Jay Ohlensehlen of Hereford, Arizona; one daughter, Verna Lee Hicks of Marion, Indiana; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson Drew.
The graveside memorial funeral service for Mrs. Ohlensehlen will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 16th, in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Joyce Proctor will officiate.
A memorial has been established for Blair House Activity Fund.
